May 8th Workshop - Keeping Kids Fit and Healthy On May 8th, CFF and Kaiser Permanente will host their third workshop titled "Keeping Kids Fit and Healthy" featuring keynote speaker Jeffrey Fisch MD, MPH, and Pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Fisch will discuss the importance of a balanced diet to avoid obesity and other early onset of illnesses. He'll also stress the value of staying active and getting plenty of exercise which will help avoid obesity, reduces stress in kids, and promotes a greater sense of well being. California Family Fitness Partners with Multiple Sclerosis Society (May 2, 2008)
SACRAMENTO, CA – California Family Fitness (CFF) is proud to partner with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Sacramento to host the Rocklin-Roseville walk on May 3rd at the Adventure Christian Church, and the Sacramento walk on May 4th at the West Steps of the State Capitol Building.
"We are thrilled to show our support for the great cause the Multiple Sclerosis Society works for everyday," said Larry Gury, President and co-founder of California Family Fitness. "The Rocklin-Roseville and Sacramento walk will not only unite the community but benefit the individuals and families who deal with Multiple Sclerosis everyday."

CFF Promotes the Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure
WHAT: California Family Fitness (CFF) and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will host a week-long registration event that kicks off on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Arden Fair Mall, to sign up race participants and raise funds and breast health awareness. CFF will provide treadmills in front of the Nordstroms Department Store to provide race participants the opportunity to rack up their miles prior to the race and raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Fitness Chain Announces New Club LocationCITRUS HEIGHTS, CA - California Family Fitness (CFF) is proud to formally announce their plans for expansion with the introduction of the fitness chain's 15th facility opening this Fall. CFF's newest club, estimated to be 52,000 square feet, will be located in Sunray Plaza at Sunrise Boulevard and Antelope road in Citrus Heights. "We are thrilled to move forward with the development plans for the new club site," said Larry Gury, President and co-founder of California Family Fitness. "The new Citrus Heights club will offer a variety of amenities such as basketball, racquetball, a private women's workout area, and classes for spin and group exercise similar to our existing facilities." California Family Fitness currently has thirteen different locations based in Northern California, with proposed plans to expand in El Dorado Hills, Auburn, Yuba City, Woodland, Vacaville, and West Sacramento. An additional CFF facility is currently under construction in Natomas which will open in April of 2008.
