Soccer With a Twist
Looking for a new way to play soccer? Then give futsal a try. It’s played indoors on a hard surface with a smaller ball that has less bounce than the typical soccer ball. The futsal pitch is delimited only by lines, with no walls or boards to hit the ball against, so players must be creative and rely on ball control and passing. Each team has five players, including the goalkeeper, and many of the rules are the same as soccer, including the use of a penalty area around each goal.
Many of our soccer-playing members love futsal because it offers a great way to improve your ball-handling skills. In fact, many professional soccer players stay on top of their game with futsal after their seasons end.
