If you like a challenging workout with no frills, a boot camp class might be just what you're looking for. A boot camp workout typically consists of high-intensity intervals of resistance exercises, spaced between short sessions of cardio. Bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, lunges and squats are frequently used, so equipment is kept to a minimum.

The goal of a fitness boot camp is to engage your whole body with an interval workout that includes cardio and weight resistance. Classic military moves mixed with sports drills and functional training will get you in shape and motivated to be the best that you can be!

My classes are fun and challenging, yet appropriate for all levels. I show modifications for every exercise so that every member can feel successful. My classes are always different, so the member always feels challenged and never gets bored.

I have had members that were not able to do a single push-up when they first started my Boot Camp classes that are now able to do 25, 50, or more in a one hour class."

Boot camp exercises can be intense, but our fitness instructors know how to modify the workout to meet your fitness level with regressions and progressions.

If you've tried other boot camp workouts before and found them to be too tough, then it's possible you weren't getting enough personal attention. Let your fitness instructor know if you are just beginning to exercise, or are recovering from an injury or surgery, and we'll make sure you progress at a safe speed.

For one-on-one focus, consider making an appointment with a personal trainer who can assess your fitness level and customize a workout just for you!

What to Expect on Day One

 Boot camp is a fun, dynamic workout that is a good match for your fitness goals. Here are a few tips for your first day:

  • Drink plenty of water before, during and after your work out, so you'll be hydrated.
  • Let the instructor know that you are new and if you need any modifications due to injuries.
  • Choose the version of each exercise that feels best for your body that day. Don’t compare yourself to others. This is about you and your overall experience!
  • Enjoy a good sweat and most of all, have fun!

Tabata Boot Camps
