You canwork out with peace of mind knowing that your child is safe and having fun. Each child care staff member has attended our own Cal Fit Corporate Child Care Training program and submitted to a background check, in addition to being CPR and AED certified.  

 

We offer childcare for all age groups, from 3 months to 11 years.

 

Our infant room is separated from the older kids, with attentive caregivers there to stimulate your baby with games and toys.  Young children can enjoy exploring their creativity with arts and crafts, toys, and age appropriate video games and story books are on hand to keep them engaged through your entire workout.  Bigger kids have access scheduled activities, a kid-sized basketball court, a climbing maze, video games, and air hockey. Some locations even have a revolving rock wall!

We currently have 19 locations in the Greater Sacramento Area.  You can find the one closest to your home or workplace here.

Our clubs are typically open from 4:30AM – Midnight on weekdays, and 7AM – 9PM on weekends.  We have limited hours on a few holidays.  You can check the hours of your preferred club location here.

Yes!  Members can bring guests.  We have single day guest passes available for purchase at the front desk of any Cal Fit location.  Guests are allowed in the clubs between the hours of 9AM – 9PM.  They must present a valid California photo ID, and complete a guest waiver form.

Members 12 and older may use the gym facilities without adult supervision. 

Members ages 10-11 may use the equipment in the main workout areas if they have completed our First Steps training program.

Firsts can be intimidating, but we don’t want you to feel that way when you enter one of our Sacramento gyms.  We’ve all been there! 

 

The most important thing to bring is yourself, along with a willingness to try new things.  Make sure you dress in clothes that you can move in comfortably, that wick moisture, and that won’t get tangled in equipment.  Wear stable, close-toed shoes.

Yes!  At Cal Fit we know the importance of being able to use your phone for music, workouts, or other content during your time at the gym.  California Family Fitness is happy to provide free wireless internet at all of our locations for your convenience.  The WiFi password is posted throughout our clubs, and you can always ask the front desk.

We welcome you to visit a California Family Fitness near you to see all of our amenities and equipment in person.  Try it for a week with a 7 day FREE trial membership, or purchase a 1 month trial membership here.

We offer membership packages for individuals, couples, and families.  You can select month-to-month pricing, or select 12-24 month term pricing for additional savings.  We have various levels of membership, including our Preferred Member Experience, which includes:

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of your fitness goals.  If you need to pause or take a detour from your current membership, that’s okay.  Visit cancelcalfit.com to fill out and submit an online cancellation form.  Once your membership cancellation request is received and approved by our corporate office, you will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation within 7-10 business days.

Amenities 

Yes!  Most of our locations have pools, plus water features especially for children. We have indoor pools at our Midtown and Natomas locations. 

 

Types of pool facilities vary by location, so we suggest checking them out here.  The pool at our Watt-Arden club will be opening very soon!

Yes!  Most of our clubs are equipped with saunas and steam rooms. You can check which specific club locations have saunas and steam rooms here.

Yes, many of our clubs do have tanning beds (both lie down and stand up) available for member use.  You can check for tanning at specific clubs here.  Memberships enhanced with the Preferred Member Experience include unlimited tanning.

Our Hydro Massage beds and lounges allow you to enjoy a rejuvenating aqua massage every day. Enjoy total relaxation while remaining fully clothed and comfortably supported as you are massaged by powerful waves of heated water. Our express training sessions (25 min.) are as low as $29.51 per session.

Body Fit is a unique fitness experience that is taught by certified personal trainers who have the ability to adapt the small group training workouts to your physical fitness level. These training sessions are grouped in teams of 6-16 people, creating a positive, friendly, and community atmosphere for members of all ages and fitness levels.

 

Cost of Body Fit is as low as $9.25 per session.

Classes

Yes, our group fitness classes are free with your California Family Fitness membership!  

 

Group fitness classes include Zumba, Kickboxing, Spin cycling, and many more!  Discover the variety of classes being taught by qualified instructors daily at our gyms here.

We are happy to be able to offer a wide array of group fitness classes led by highly qualified instructors.  These include yoga, pilates, Zumba, kickboxing, spin cycling, boot camp, core strength, Barre Fusion, water aerobics, PiYo, Piloga, Tai Chi, and interval training.

 

We also have classes especially designed for seniors and those looking for gentle, low-impact fitness activities.  Try Zumba Gold, gentle pilates, Silver Sculpt & Stretch, Young at Heart, and more!
